DSGi has hired Patrick Macdonald as chief operating officer with effect from next month.
Macdonald was previously chief executive of John Menzies and has also worked for General Electric, Boston Consulting and Unilever.
His responsibilities will include major change and process enhancement programmes, information systems and the supply chain.
DSGi chief executive John Browett said: “There is much we can do to take DSGi forward and we are changing the business to do so. Patrick's extensive experience will be very valuable in helping us achieve our goals.”
