Openpay has been confirmed as the headline partner for Retail Week Live 2020.
The Australian-based buy now, pay later firm works with a range of businesses across the automotive, healthcare and travel sectors, as well as with a range of retailers including Nike, Dotti, Bunnings Warehouse and French Connection.
The fintech firm launched earlier this year in the UK, its first move into an international market, and appointed former Arcadia interim chief digital officer Andy Harding as its managing director.
Openpay’s technology allows shoppers to buy now and pay later for products purchased online and in-store by completing a brief application form at the point of purchase.
Managing director of Retail Week, Chris Brook-Carter, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Openpay as headline partner of Retail Week Live. Consumers now expect to be able to pay however they wish and buy now, pay later options that Openpay offers are giving consumers more confidence in their purchase. Openpay has had huge success in Australia, and we are excited to be a part of their journey into the UK.”
