Reserved has resumed its plans to expand in the UK and Europe after putting the brakes on expansion in December 2019 due to political uncertainties as a result of Brexit.
The Polish fashion brand, which is owned by clothing conglomerate LPP and sells womenswear, menswear and childrenswear, opened its London flagship on Oxford Street in 2017.
Reserved has now unveiled plans to open further stores in London as well as 400 stores across Europe by the end of this year, The Times reported.
Stores are anticipated for both Brent Cross shopping centre and Westfield Stratford, while the retailer is also in talks to open in cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle.
Reserved confirmed in November last year that it would open its second flagship on London’s Oxford Street later this year.
LPP chief financial officer Przemyslaw Lutkiewicz said: “We have lots of experience from our store on Oxford Street and believe that we can fill the gap in the market right now, especially while many other companies are closing their stores.
“We hope we can fill that Topshop-shaped hole on the high street.
”Many big retailers have had to scale back their businesses. There have been lots of nice properties, lots of nice locations, to take over right now.
”The market is so big for us that even having a small portion of it will be beneficial for our company.”
