Shop Direct’s Very has created a new shoppable YouTube music video-style advert starring pop duo Rizzle Kicks.
In the video Rizzle Kicks sing a cover of DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince’s 1991 hit ‘Summertime’.
The ad was filmed in Greenwich Park and is entirely shoppable, with all items available to purchase, from the 1990s inspired fashion collection to the homewares and picnic goods.
The video features an information button that viewers can click on to take them to the Very site to find out more information about the pieces and make a purchase.
Created by agency Havas SE Cake in partnership with Universal Music Group, the music video can be viewed on the Very website and on Very’s YouTube channel. It can also be downloaded by the first 10,000 consumers who visit the Very site.
The video is the latest way etailer Very is attempting to engage with shoppers via social media and technology.
At the start of the year, Very launched a its first transactional iPhone app that includes image recognition technology that allows shoppers to take pictures of clothes they like and use them to search for similar styles in Very’s range.
