Ferrari is due to open its much-delayed first UK store on London’s Regent Street today.
The 5,920 sq ft shop, covering two floors, will stock merchandise ranging from a £3 branded key fob to a Ferrari car.
The ground floor features a glazed floor, allowing views of the basement and providing a home for the showcase car. Elsewhere, the high-gloss Ferrari red has been applied to mid-floor fixtures. Along the sides of the shop there are illuminated recesses lined with cream leather, which mirror the inside of a Ferrari.
The steel staircase takes shoppers down to a children’s department, which includes scaled-down replica Ferraris, and luxury goods.
There are no plans for further shops in the UK at present.
