Waitrose has invested a further £10m in price cuts across nearly 130 products in its premium and organic ranges in the first phase of its latest review of prices.
The supermarket has invested £10m to cut prices on more than 80 No.1 and 45 Duchy branded products, which include premium and organic items such as cheese, croissants and pork joints in the first phase of its latest round of price cuts.
This marks the sixth time Waitrose has cut prices since February 2023 taking its total investment in value to £140m. The supermarket’s New Lower Prices campaign saw price cuts for nearly 1,400 products with reductions of more than 7% across its ranges.
Waitrose commercial director Charlotte Di Cello said: “Our food-loving customers come to Waitrose to experience the very best, from exceptional flavours to the quality of the ingredients we offer.
“This latest investment in prices will include a large number of products across No.1 and our Organic Duchy ranges, which we know our customers love.
“With many celebrating organic month this September, there’s no better time to try our organic Duchy food and drink.”
