Bath and body care retailer Lush has appointed Kasey Swithenbank as its new lead retailer in the UK and Ireland.
Swithenbank started at Lush in 2010 as a sales associate in Cardiff. She was promoted to shop supervisor in the same year and then to shop manager from 2012 to 2017.
She joined the retailer’s UK and Ireland retail team in 2017 where she managed and directed over 100 store managers and contributed to innovating high streets.
Lush siad that, with over 13 years of experience in the retail industry, Swithenbank “brings a breadth of knowledge”.
Swithenbank said: “I am so excited to be taking on this role at Lush. I’m extremely passionate about our high streets being memory-makers for visitors and believe Lush shops create lasting memories for customers with our staff being day-makers.
“Along with offering experiences beyond retail shopping like spas, parties and more. I’m excited to continue building upon Lush’s success in these areas.”
This follows Lush’s record-breaking performance on the high street after a successful Christmas trading period. Sales reached £40.5m in December, which was 13.1% higher than in 2021 and 11% higher than in 2019.
Lush continues its investment in bricks-and-mortar stores with a new flagship store set to open in Glasgow soon.
