Superdrug has promised to freeze prices on 5,000 branded beauty products to help shoppers cope with rising inflation.
The high street health and beauty retailer has committed to freezing prices on a raft of bestselling cosmetics from top brands, including Maybelline, Rimmel, Revolution, Bourjois and Urban Decay, until the end of the year.
Superdrug said the move will help shoppers to enjoy popular products in the run-up to Halloween and Christmas, a key trading period for beauty.
Superdrug chief commercial officer Simon Comins said: “We’ve seen that consumers are finding a way to navigate the current economic climate and are looking for great value and recommendations on how to shop smarter and more cost-effectively during this time.
“By taking this next step with our price freeze we hope that our customers can purchase items that provide them with a little happiness and escapism, with the knowledge that our prices won’t change.”
The promise is in addition to the current price freeze on its own-brand range, which includes 130 products.
