Carpetright has unveiled a new partnership with Furniture Village and opened its first concession with the furniture retailer.
The concession has opened in Furniture Village’s 3,000 sq ft Guildford store and will sell 89 product ranges including laminate, vinyl, wood and luxury vinyl tiles.
The concession stand will be staffed by Carpetright employees who are able to provide a free measuring and estimating service and arrange a third-party fitting service.
The carpet retailer has other concessions around the country including with Morleys, Pearson’s, Barkers, Atkinsons and Browns. It most recently exited a partnership with home and DIY retailer Homebase.
Furniture Village chief executive Peter Harrison said: “As one of the UK’s largest general furniture retailers which already service most rooms in the home, it makes good sense that we should explore further ways of extending our product offering.”
Carpetright boss Wilf Walsh added: “It has been great working with the Furniture Village team in getting this brand-new concession up and running, and we are thrilled to be opening our first concession with them.”
