Homebase is a British home improvement retailer and garden centre. As part of its turnaround strategy, the retailer eliminated everyday low pricing and returned to prices and offers. It has also enhanced its kitchen and lighting offers as well as reintroducing popular ranges such as furniture and soft furnishing in the hopes of becoming “the best place to shop for everything you need for home and garden projects”. The Range has opened the doors to the first of its “many” superstores while debuting “garden centres by Homebase”.
CDS Superstores has earmarked three further former Homebase stores they are planning to relaunch as The Range Superstores by the end of the month.

B&Q has reached an agreement to purchase five more Homebase stores for £2.5m, following the retailer’s collapse into administration in November.
