Belgian grocer Louis Delhaize’s hypermarket store chain Cora is to expand in Romanian cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants, Capital reports.
The retailer is to open its ninth hypermarket in the country on November 8 and plans another outlet in Bucharest by the end of the year. It is investing E60m (£48.2m) in the openings and aims to open another two hypermarkets in 2013.
