Reliance Digital ramps up store expansion in India

Consumer electronics chain Reliance Digital says it expects to open 75 stores across India next year. Inaugurating the chain’s 25th store in Hyderabad, Reliance Digital senior vice-president and head of operations Suresh Sukumaran said: “With these outlets we will have a network of 100 stores. All these outlets will be large format ones, each requiring an investment of about INR9 crore (£126,112) on infrastructure alone.”
