All stores closed and 200 jobs lost
Furniture retailer Klaussner has been placed into administration, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Administrators DTE Leonard Curtis closed all stores yesterday, with a loss of more than 200 jobs. The chain employed 250 people in 29 stores and turned over£27 million last year. The administrators are seeking to sell the leasehold properties.

The retailer emerged from administration in July 2005, when it was acquired by its German-owned sister company, Klaussner Beteiligungs.
