Men’s tailoring retailer Dalvey plans to expand its store portfolio after enlisting retail property adviser Harper Dennis Hobbs to help it find new stores across the UK.
Scotland-based Dalvey, which sells menswear and accessories from its www.dalvey.com website and a standalone store in Dublin, will open its first UK store later this year. Its offer includes shirts, polo shirts, trousers, briefcases and wallets.
Harper Dennis Hobbs will look for stores of between 1,000 sq ft and 2,000 sq ft in high footfall areas including London’s West End and the City. Other potential locations include Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Leeds.
Dalvey director Neil Grant said the business would look to open at least one new store this year but could not put a target number on the amount of stores it hopes to eventually have.
Grant said: “We needed an environment where we are controlling the brand projection.”
