Fashion retailer New Look previewed its autumn/winter ranges this week, but has put plans to introduce more branded product on the backburner.
Managing director Phil Wrigley said the retailer had considered introducing branded footwear, but its own-label ranges were 'performing brilliantly'. He claimed that, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres, New Look had the largest growth in market share in footwear of any UK retailer.
Wrigley said there are a range of influences on next season's fashions.
'This is more eclectic than last year's gypsy theme,' he said.
New look is to open a new Oxford Street flagship store in August, twice the size of its existing store, which will remain open.
