A wide variety of retailers have been shortlisted for the Oracle Retail Week Awards 2013, reflecting the high level of innovation across the sector.
Forward thinking was clear in the shortlist for the Rethink Recruitment Technology Initiative of the Year, which includes Tesco.com’s Gatwick shopping wall and Debenhams’ Endless Aisle. Boots’ new foundation-matching machine and M&S’s sustainable suit are up for Product Innovation of the Year.
Competition is also fierce in design. A dozen retailers are shortlisted for the Store Design of the Year award, including Hotel Chocolat for its Roast + Conch format, Jamie Oliver’s Recipease and Halfords’ multichannel ‘lab’ store. The Marketing/Advertising Campaign of the Year will also be hotly contested, with B&Q in the mix.
Other awards include Deloitte Employer of the Year, Zolfo Cooper Growth Retailer of the Year, Clarity Search Retail Leader of the Year, Wipro International Retailer of the Year, Brandbank Multichannel Retailer of the Year and the Oracle Retailer of the Year.
