JoJo Maman Bébé has named Gwynn Milligan as commercial director.
The maternity retail specialist, which has 80 UK stores and a US operation, said Milligan joins at “a pivotal stage in its development to help ease the pathway from small to large company”.
Milligan, most recently group trading director of Jaeger, has formerly worked at retailers including Arcadia, Asos, and Mothercare as well as Reiss and Cocosa.
Milligan said she was delighted to join “a successful growing brand”.
She said: “I am looking forward to working with a talented team by further supporting their success and growth story.”
JoJo Maman Bébé was founded by Laura Tenison 24 years ago from a table in her flat, and stock was held at her parents’ shed.
She said: “Since then we have grown organically into a global business designing and retailing everything you need from pregnancy to pre-school.
“Gwynn’s experience of successfully running the commercial departments of larger companies will be added to this brand’s predominantly home-grown board of directors.”
Tension said that the retailer’s turnover “has grown at a rate of 46%, of which international growth achieved 86%, and EBITDA has grown 25% over the past three years”.
