Allied London Properties' Christopher Place scheme in St Albans is now fully let, with the last remaining 1,500 sq ft (140 sq m) unit snapped up by lifestyle footwear retailer Feet Inc. at a rent of£60,000 a year.
Allied's refurbishment and repositioning of Christopher Place has attracted Wagamama, Carluccio's, Zizzi's, Bang & Olufsen, Crabtree & Evelyn, Viyella and Petit Bateau, alongside anchor stores French Connection and Hobbs. All the retailers are new to the city.
The landlord claims rental levels in the scheme have doubled over the course of the project to more than£85 Zone A.
Markham Vaughan Gillingham and Lawrence Maykels represented Allied London.
Churston Heard acted for Feet Inc.
