Such a shame. Is this another retailer falling under the wheels of the credit insurance market's timidity? They always seemed to me to have a good format, but maybe it lost momentum early on. Many of the other larger booksellers seemed to steal their thunder and Borders responded by over-diversification. It's a similar story to Blacks in many ways and a lesson for us all that the inertia gained from a good start is never going to be enough to keep you ahead of the competition for long.
