For myself, I am sorry to loose Borders from the UK. I don't agree with it being alien name to UK book retailing.

My experience in shopping at the Borders Store at Leicester J21 of the M1 was always very good and I hope that this is one of the stores that is saved.

Although you can get books cheaper on-line and via the Supermarkets, you cannot browse books in the same way, unless you go to a Library.

Libraries themselves are likely to be under threat with the spending cuts that will be required next year.
