The issue with JS is a simple one. They have taken far too much cost out of the operation which is resulting in poor availability and long checkout queues. I live in South Manchester and have a choice of JS in Cheadle or Tesco in Handforth....Tesco gets my money every week as shopping in JS is a miserable experience now. There is no doubt that all the focus on Argos and then the merger has taken their eye of the basics of being a great retailing business.
