They opened stores at premium rents where they believed they could make a profit.

Many of those locations have failed due to the low footfall now experienced in many malls.

Landlords can’t expect retailers, no matter who they are to suffer losses whilst paying them rents that are no longer remotely reasonable.

If they do not wake up landlords will see the pre pack used much more often.
