The question to be asked is Asda taking advantage of its employees which could be described as profiteering or is Asda behaving as a responsible company that recognises that the level of increase being asked means that they will have to significantly increase the price of product which will reduce its sales and profits until there are no jobs

I think it’s the latter and that is what they should be doing
