Co-founders Christiaan Ashworth and John Parker were succeeded as CEO by Parker Gundersen from the second half of 2022 after private equity group Carlyle took a majority stake the year before. The retailer was acquired by Apollo Global Management in October 2024, with its founders leaving the business.
