Michael Kliger has been appointed as president of Mytheresa.com and the Theresa flagship store in Munich.
He replaces managing director Thomas Mueller who is leaving for “personal reasons”. The company was sold to Neiman Marcus in October last year.
“We are excited to have Michael Kliger join our team. He will lead the day-to-day running of our Mytheresa business, as well as oversee the strategic direction, operational effectiveness and drive our continued growth around the world,” said Neiman Marcus Group president and chief executive Karen Katz.
“His past experience in building and leading an international team will greatly help advance our very ambitious growth plans.”
He joins Neiman Marcus from eBay Enterprise where he was most recently vice president, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Prior to eBay, he has held managing director and executive positions for several companies, including eBay Enterprises/GSI Commerce, Accenture, and Real Holding.
He is a former principal of McKinsey & Company where he headed its German retail practice.
