Online snacks brand Graze.com is launching into more than 1,600 shops, including branches of Sainsbury’s, Boots and WHSmith.
The brand’s new 12-strong ‘good-to-go’ range of boxed snacks will be available in stores from this week after it said retailers approached the company asking it to create a range. It is the first time Graze products will be available in shops.
Graze.com chief executive Anthony Fletcher said: “The launch into retail allows our delicious and healthier snacks to reach new customers and segments. It brings Graze one step closer to achieving our vision of becoming the number one healthier snacking brand in the UK.”
In Sainsbury’s the range will be positioned next to tills, while in Boots a sample of the range has already been trialled which saw the highest rate of sale across the retailer’s total snack business, Graze said.
The company said the launch is the “next step” in its expansion after a successful launch in the US in late 2013.
Graze had sales of £68m in 2014, up 31% year-on-year.
