Shoppers have flocked to Black, the lifestyle-focused electricals fascia being piloted by Dixons Retail, in its first week of trading, its parent has claimed.
A Dixons Retail spokesman said there had been little pre-opening publicity but “despite that the store has been packed”.
The store, details of which were revealed last week by Retail Week, is focused on designer brands and styled to be more appealing to women than other electricals shops.
Our pictures reveal Black’s interior has almost as much in common with a fashion store as an electricals shop.
