Outerwear and accessories retailer Canada Goose has brought the Arctic to Toronto with its latest inventory-free store concept.
The retailer’s new concept store, based in the CF Sherway Gardens shopping centre in Toronto and called ‘The Journey’, has been completely fitted out to simulate Arctic conditions.
The shop window, which the retailer calls ‘The Façade’, features an LED screen between two rocky surfaces, which leads to ‘The Crevasse’ – an audiovisual immersive hallway, where customers walk over simulations of cracking ice or flowing rapids coupled with sounds effects.
Canada Goose said it has placed digital at the heart of the store, with other rooms named the ‘Elements Room’ and ‘Glacier Wall’, both of which display bespoke video content.
