Styles & Wood, the UK's largest shopfitting and retail property services company, has signed a deal with private equity firm Aberdeen Murray Johnstone (AMJPE) that sees the company get a£39 million cash injection.
The investment package, which includes debt and working capital, has allowed the company's previous equity partner, 3i, to complete an exit.
Styles & Wood chief executive Neil Davies said: 'The business is looking forward to a future that might include acquisition and an equity partner can help us with this.'
Paul Newton, head of the Manchester office of AMJPE, said: 'This is a very exciting business operating in a sector that is forecast to grow between 7 per cent and 8 per cent per annum.'
