Menswear fashion retailer TM Lewin has appointed Keith Nesbitt, former Asda retail change director, as chief operating officer.
Nesbitt's remit will cover distribution, logistics, human resources and other operational responsibilities.
He left Asda last summer after about 25 years at the Wal-Mart owned grocer. As retail change director, one of his last roles was working on a project to bolster Asda's product availability. It is understood that Nesbitt had wanted to move away from grocery retailing.
TM Lewin is undergoing a recruitment drive at present for roles including retail management and sales consultants.
