Major Yorkshire shopping centre development Trinity Leeds is to open on March 21, 2013.
The 1 million sq ft shopping centre, developed by Land Securities, will be the only scheme of its scale in Western Europe to complete next year.
Trinity Leeds, designed by British architects Chapman Taylor, is anticipated to open its doors to 200,000 people on opening day. The £350m centre is forecast to host 23 million visitors in its first year.
The centre is 80% pre-let or in solicitors’ hands, having already attracted international retailers including Urban Outfitters, Superdry, Hollister, and Mango. Anchor tenants include a flagship three-storey Primark, Marks & Spencer, Next, and Topshop.
Trinity Leeds project management director Andrew Dudley said: “We’re very excited to be announcing the opening date for Trinity and look forward to welcoming the people of Leeds to their new shopping destination in the heart of the city.”
