Irish independent department store WH Good of Kilkenny, has commissioned London-based consultancy Kinnersley Kent to create a design concept for its 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) store.
The approach will aim to appeal to younger shoppers, without alienating the existing customer base, according to Audra Francis of Kinnersley Kent business development.
She added that the design addresses all the store's architectural elements and concession fit-outs.
The first phase has begun on the second floor, enabling the rest of the store to continue trading on the remaining lower ground, ground, first and mezzanine levels.
The store refurbishment is expected to be finished by October.
