Pansies-to-pet food retailer Wyevale Garden Centres has opened a destination store at Crowland near Peterborough, its largest to date.
The outlet opened last Saturday and, at 6,130 sq m, is more than 1,800 sq m bigger than the existing flagship in Hereford.
The garden centre has a 250-seat restaurant and a number of franchises, including Julian Graves and Edinburgh Woollen Mill.
A spokesman said: 'It's a similar format to existing centres, but on a much grander scale. It will demonstrate that Wyevale can go bigger, and the company is likely to aim for larger centres in the future.'
Last week, Wyevale acquired a centre in Leicestershire for its second big destination store.
