Department store chain appoints ex-fashion MD
Midlands-based department store chain Beatties has appointed Brian Heilbron as its chief executive. He will take up the post from January 31 next year.

Heilbron is 53 and has 30 years of retail experience. Most recently, he was managing director of US-owned womenswear and childrenswear fashion chain Talbots (UK) from 1999. From 1987 to 1999 he was Jacques Vert chief operating officer.
