The Body Shop will use H-P Superdome servers to run an integrated IT system to link its 2,000 stores in 52 countries.
H-P will be responsible for migrating the retailer from various legacy systems onto a standardised architecture.
Body Shop sells a product every 0.4 seconds, which equates to 77 million transactions a year. By running a single system, it hopes to cut costs and boost performance, while leaving room for future growth.
Body Shop will use H-P OpenView management software to run the network.
Support SAP applications, desktop management and job scheduling will come from Altiris and Redwood Software.
