The campaigning body contacted retailers last year to try to persuade them to stop sourcing from the troubled region, and is compiling a dirty list of retailers that it will publish later this year.
Burma Campaign UK director Yvette Mahon said it was delighted at Bonmarche's response. 'As soon as we made them aware of the situation in Burma, they responded positively to our request that they stop sourcing there. We hope those retailers still sourcing from Burma follow their lead,' she said.
Fashion retailer Kookai stopped sourcing from Burma earlier this year, after customer concerns.
