Six retailers including Michael Kors, Schuh and Asics have signed up to open stores at the extended Jubilee Place shopping centre in Canary Wharf.
The 44,000 sq ft extension, which will open in November, is one of the largest retail expansions currently underway in the UK. It will add 25 new units in total to Canary Wharf’s existing retail offer.
Menswear brand Tiger of Sweden, chocolatier Godiva and jewellery brand Monica Vinader have also signed up to open stores at the centre in November. In June, nine other retail brands, including Banana Republic, Cos, Oliver Bonas and The White Company, were revealed to have taken units in the development.
Camille Waxer, chief administrative officer for Canary Wharf Group, said the signing of the “desirable fashion brands will ensure that the retail mix at Canary Wharf continues to meet the ever changing needs of our customers”.
