Rosie Carr

Rosie Carr, Head of Engineering, Holland & Barrett

Rosie Carr has been the Head of Engineering at Holland & Barrett for almost three years. She is an experienced technology leader having worked within the IT industry for over a decade with experience in notable companies such as Comparethemarket.com. At Holland & Barrett, Rosie leads the cloud platform team. She is knowledgeable about how to drive continuous improvements and development through automation and creating innovative ways to empower engineers while providing a reliable, scalable and secure platform. She has used agile methodologies to fail fast, learn fast and deliver at pace so has ample advice on how to change the status quo to thrive in today’s retail landscape. 

Petra Barbieri

Petra Barbieri, Senior Solution Engineer, Slack from Salesforce

Petra Barbieri is an experienced technology leader as a Senior Solution Engineer at Slack by Salesforce. This follows her previous roles at notable companies including those in the retail space such as Asos. At Slack, and throughout her years as an engineer, Petra has gained knowledge of what tech stack lies behind high-performing retailers. Petra currently works with enterprise and mid-market companies so understands how strategies can differ and what it takes to scale up and maintain growth.

Andrew Xeni

Andrew Xeni, Founder and Chairman, Nobody’s Child and Founder and CEO, Fabacus

Andrew Xeni is a visionary technology and retail entrepreneur; founder of award-winning businesses that are reshaping their industries. After building a successful family manufacturing business supplying the UK high street, Xeni went on to establish responsible fashion brand Nobody’s Child, as well as building technology ventures Fabacus, where he serves as CEO, and Soreto, where he acts as Chair. Operating globally, his businesses are servicing some of the world’s largest organisations in licensing and retail, including Tesco, NBCUniversal and Samsung. Xeni also welcomed Marks & Spencer as a strategic investor and minority shareholder in Nobody’s Child.  

Passionate about shaping the future of sustainable retail, in 2023, Fabacus and Nobody’s Child collaborated to launch a digital product passport solution driven by compliant product catalogues, in preparation for incoming legislation around the world, set to redefine and evolve the retail landscape.
