Dixons Carphone-owned electricals retailer Currys PC World has today launched its humorous ‘Get it Right’ Christmas campaign.
TV, radio and online adverts will break over the next five days, airing first on the evening of Thursday November 3.
The £5m campaign aims to give viewers advice on how to “get it right” this Christmas, offering itself as the solution to everyone’s Christmas shopping woes.
The ads feature a variety of light-hearted interactions between British families, and suggest it is sometimes best to drop an unsubtle hint to your loved ones.
Dixons Carphone head of brand and advertising Georgina Bramall said: “Celebrating the role our expert colleagues play in helping our customers choose the perfect gift from our wide range of food prep, entertainment and gifting lines was a key consideration when building our plans.
“This campaign thought is so intrinsic to our business already, that it was easy to fully integrate it across all of our customer touchpoints in a holistic and authentic way.”
