Topps Tiles has agreed a 12-month deal with ITV1’s Daybreak to sponsor the breakfast programme’s national weather forecast.
The tile and flooring retailer has sponsored Daybreak’s regional weather since April last year, but has now extended the sponsorship to national weather and will launch twelve new national idents this month.
Topps Tiles head of marketing Beth Boulton said: “Despite the challenges facing the retail market, we had a good 2012. We are looking forward to working with Daybreak to further promote Topps Tiles’ unique offering of outstanding product range, affordability, industry leading customer service and locational convenience.”
The idents will focus on the daily life of an everyday family in their period semi-detached home to show Topps Tiles’ various tile styles and wood flooring products. The light-hearted campaign will include a series of comedic domestic situations relating to the family of four and their pet dog, and will also feature the brand’s established tagline, ‘Brightening your home whatever the weather’.
The 10-second idents will run five times a day from Monday to Friday across the programme’s five weather slots from 6.30am to 8.30am.
