John Lewis commercial director Andrea O’Donnell is to depart the retailer to join Hong Kong department store Lane Crawford.
O’Donnell joins Lane Crawford as executive director on September 3. She was a driving force of John Lewis’ internet expansion strategy.
She joins Burberry managing director of digital commerce Sebastian Picardo who is also heading for the department store where he will take on the role of executive vice president business development and online on August 6.

Lane Crawford revealed full-year revenue hit $700m (£446m) in its year to March 31, 2012.
