Electricals group Dixons has created a £50,000 reward fund for information leading to the arrest of looters following widespread rioting this week.
Dixons has teamed up with charity Crimestoppers to offer cash for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people who have stolen or damaged property belonging to the retailer’s chains, Currys and PC World
Information can be provided to the police, or anonymously to Crimestoppers.
A Dixons spokesman added: “Thanks to the fantastic response from our colleagues, Currys and PC World are back to business as normal already.
“Of stores impacted by the unrest, all but four will be open by the weekend, and these will reopen next week. Of course we are still monitoring the situation closely to ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues.”
