Sainsbury’s chief executive Justin King and Waitrose managing director Mark Price are among an illustrious line-up set to speak at the Oxford Summer School.
The grocery bosses, along with BRC director general Helen Dickinson and Marks & Spencer multichannel ecommerce executive director Laura Wade-Gery, will address over 200 retail managers at the event.
The Oxford Summer School (OSS) Academy, at Keble College, Oxford, will take place on August 17-23.
The annual academy, aimed at middle managers, is designed to expose delegates to some of the problems, decisions and challenges involved in running a retail business.
OSS managing director Dominic Prendergast said: “We are thrilled to have such a strong line-up of speakers at the academy. The opportunity to hear snippets of wisdom from such high calibre individuals is invaluable when combined with the intense programme and development tasks that are carried out throughout the week.
“As a previous delegate, I myself have experienced the positive impact of this.”
