Fashion retailer Rixo has launched in Selfridges, London, marking its largest shop-in-shop retail space, Retail Week can reveal.
Rixo’s new shop-in-shop opened today and will welcome customers for 10 weeks “just in time for the spring/summer season”.
The new pop-up retail space offers a range of the brand’s new collections, including clothing, accessories and footwear, as well as Rixo’s pre-loved collection and some exclusive pieces that are only available at the department store.
Rixo said the space invites shoppers into a “world of elevated style and unparalleled craftsmanship” and will offer styling sessions among other activations.
The Selfridges space reflects the interior of Rixo’s existing stores and is located on the third floor of Selfridges’ atrium space.
Rixo co-founder Henrietta Rix said: “As a student, I worked on the shop floor in Selfridges, so to open our first official Rixo shop-in-shop here feels extremely personal.
“Selfridges is such an iconic global department store and we hope this is the first of many similar shop-in-shops that we will open globally over the next few years, bringing the Rixo brand to new customers.
“We look forward to offering customers an immersive journey into the world of Rixo, and another place to try Rixo, as we approach our 10th year in business.”
The Selfridges Rixo interior was creatively led by Gemma McCloskey, twin sister of Rixo co-founder Orlagh McCloskey, and founder of interior design studio Cúpla.
