M&Co has been bought out of administration by the Peterborough-based business AK Retail Holdings, which owns Yours Clothing, Long Tall Sally, BadRhino and maternity brand Bump It Up.

The retailer has been purchased for an undisclosed sum and its physical stores will not be included in the purchase.

M&Co originally entered administration in 2020, before being reacquired by its Scottish owner, the McGeoch family, in a pre-pack insolvency deal.

The retailer collapsed for a second time last December.
