Monsoon has unveiled a new partnership with rental platform My Wardrobe HQ “just in time for peak wedding season”.

Customers can expect a range of wedding dresses, jumpsuits and other limited collections of occasion and formalwear.

Monsoon will also offer a selection of its “most trend-led pieces” each season to enable customers to rent the most sought-after products.

Rent Monsoon is launching with 30 rental options including nine bridal pieces, 11 bridesmaid dresses and 10 occasionwear dresses.

Monsoon buying and merchandise director Naomi Robertson said: “Dress rental allows our customers to wear and return our most gorgeous bridal and occasion pieces, ever-widening our reach and giving modern women a more affordable and sustainable choice.”

The fashion retailer posted a dip in profits for its most recent full year as demand weakened as a result of the cost-of-living crisis.

EBITDA for the year was down £4.4m to £20m, while group sales dipped 4% year on year to £248m.
