In an AGM statement released today, the retailer said it was 'actively considering' splitting the business, but plans were still at an early stage.
Findel said trading at its home shopping business was 'encouraging', with sales up 3 per cent on the same period last year. The first part of the financial year is traditionally quiet for the division.
The company also announced that Mike Hawker will be joining the board as a non-executive director from July 4. Hawker is a former chief executive of catalogue company Otto UK, as well as La Redoute owners the Redcats Group.
