Upmarket home interiors chain Fired Earth is working with application integration specialist Strategix to improve its transaction processing and fulfilment.
The retailer, which has more than 60 outlets in the UK, Ireland, northern Europe and Hong Kong, is hoping the One Office solution will improve customer service in-store and drive shopper loyalty.
Fired Earth managing director Beverly Nielsen said: 'We have doubled in terms of stores over the past five years. The brand is known for its authenticity, and consequently our relationship with customers has grown considerably.'
Much of Fired Earth's range requires a purchase or delivery order to be created and processed, because very little stock is held on site.
The One Office software integrates finance, operations, supplier management, point of sale and order processing, enabling staff to view an order at any point in the process, from anywhere in the business.
This means warehouse staff can check the progress of an order, and shopfloor staff can answer shoppers' availability enquiries.
