Former boss Allan Leighton returns to Asda as executive chair
Allan Leighton, who was chief executive of Asda from 1996 to 2000, is set to return to the grocer as the executive chair as the supermarket struggles with a sales slump.
Leighton will replace Asda’s current chair, Stuart Rose, as sales continue to take a dive at the third-largest supermarket chain in the UK.
