Barneys New York unveiled its Christmas windows on Thursday, with the department store showcasing a winter wonderland spectacle created by film director Baz Luhrmann and his wife, costume designer Catherine Martin.
The windows, which opened with a dazzling performance from dancers and singers on Thursday (November 13) evening, feature woodland creatures such as a squirrel and an owl, as well as dancers, ice skaters and elves.
Each of the four Christmas windows on Madison Avenue has a theme: beauty, truth, love and freedom.
Barneys will put on a series of live performances and interactive theatre in each of the windows in the run-up to Christmas.
